Scott Meadows, M.Ed.
Mr. Scott Meadows joined All Saints on June 20, 2022. Mr. Meadows holds a Virginia teaching license with endorsements in Administration and Supervision and English, in addition to a Master of Arts from Virginia Tech in Educational Leadership and Policy Study and Bachelor of Art degree from Hampden-Sydney College where he majored in English and History. He has gained a wealth of experience during his 25 year career in education serving as a Teacher, Public Information Specialist, Coordinator of Marketing, Assistant Principal, and for the last nine years as a Principal in the Yorktown County Public School System where he was named PTA Principal of the Year for 2018-2019. From Mr. Meadows: “I feel honored to serve as the next principal of All Saints Catholic School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support superior academics and values in a safe and supportive environment. I look forward to working together to move All Saints forward and providing an outstanding learning experience for every child.”

All Saints is excited to welcome Pamela Wray to the role of Enrollment and Development Coordinator at All Saints Catholic School. Pamela has served in the Diocese of Richmond for over 13 years. Ms. Wray will be working with families during our re-enrollment and enrollment process.

Kelly Muthiora, R.N. joined All Saints in 2021. She serves the school on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Mrs. Hoang has a Bachelor’s in Special Education and a Second Endorsement in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching at All Saints since 1987. She feels blessed to have taught at All Saints for so long; she feels her peers and students have helped her learn and grow, building one another up like family. Mrs. Hoang has been married for thirty-six years and has two adult sons and a grandson. Her passions include singing, playing the piano, drawing, and dramatizing stories with her nieces and nephew, and of course, her students. Nature and bugs are of great interest to her (as her students will attest) and she cannot wait to begin planting in the school garden. In 2018, Mrs. Hoang was named the All Saints’ “Teacher of the Year” by her fellow teachers and the administration.
Jr-K Classroom Aide
Mrs. Branch joined All Saints in January 2017. She has 30 years of experience in child care as a preschool teacher then program director at Holy Rosary Child Care Center. She currently serves as a catechist at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She reports that she “loves the Lord and loves his children.”
Kindergarten Classroom Aide & After-School
Mrs. Smith joined All Saints in September 2018, working in After-School and as a long-term substitute. In 2019, she became a classroom aide. She hails from Brooklyn, New York and received a Catholic education from kindergarten through high school. After graduating she joined the US Air Force where she met her husband, Dana. They have three children and four grandchildren. During their growing years she earned AA Degrees in Business Administration and Legal Assisting, and stayed involved in teaching and coordinated the Sunday School program at her home parish of Our Lady of Lourdes. The girl scouts also kept her busy for 10 years, followed by nineteen years of experience in teaching preschool. Presently, she enjoys her church ministry with the Legion of Mary; an outreach to children, families and the elderly while sharing Marian prayers and devotions. Mrs. Smith feels blessed for the opportunity to serve at All Saints.
Elexes Waddell – Grade 1[email protected]
Ms. Waddell joined All Saints in 2020. She grew up in northern Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Robert Morris University. She moved to Virginia four years ago and began teaching in Orange County and Richmond Public Schools. She has a Virginia Teaching License with a PreK-6th Endorsement. In her spare time, she enjoys reading children’s books to her toddler son, learning something new or going camping.
Joan Yates – Instructional Classroom Aide, Grade 1
Mrs. Yates earned a Master’s in Business/Information Systems at VCU, and a Master’s in Reading Education from University of Virginia. It has been her great pleasure to support the talented classroom teachers and eager young “Knights” of All Saints in their reading and writing activities in kindergarten through Grade 3 since 2010. Mrs. Yates feels privileged to witness our students take delight in buddy reading books and poems by favorite authors or enthusiastically present their journal writing and personal pages for class books. Mrs. Yates and her husband, Bill, have two grown sons. She enjoys reading, cycling, walking, baking and especially eating (preferably chocolate!) desserts.
John Tucker – 2nd Grade[email protected]
Mr. Tucker is joining All Saints as the 2nd grade teacher. Mr. Tucker is no stranger to Catholic education having taught 5th grade for five year in the Richmond Diocese. Mr. Tucker is a graduate of Bridgewater College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. During his previous teaching assignment, Mr. Tucker worked collaboratively to create lessons that fostered student curiosity and interest through hands-on learning activities. In addition, Mr. Tucker supported the athletics program as the youth basketball coach.
Karen Harvey – Instructional Classroom Aide, Grades 2-5[email protected]
Karen Harvey joins All Saints in 2021 as a Instructional Aide for grades 2-5 through Catapult/EANS funding. Ms. Harvey is retired from Delta Airlines with 35 years experience as a Trainer/Senior Customer Agent. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She brings several years experience in teaching Vacation Bible school to the primary age group at her church. She and her husband proud parents of a daughter, Kira.
Ann Olivier – 3rd Grade[email protected]
Mrs. Olivier is not only new to All Saints, but she is new to Virginia as well. Mrs. Olivier is a lifelong educator and will be joining the All Saints faculty as the 3rd grade teacher. Mrs. Olivier holds a Master’s Degree in elementary education and is endorsed in ESOL and gifted education. Mrs. Olivier brings 24 years of teaching experiences with her to All Saints as a classroom teacher in grades 2 – 5. Mrs. Olivier is originally from New York, but lived in Miami, Florida for 30 years before relocating to Virginia. She is a mother to 26-year-old twins, loves nature and all animals.
Marybeth Devany – Grade 4[email protected]
Marybeth Devany joined All Saints in 2021. She has 25 years of teaching experience in Henrico County and the City of Richmond. Most recently she taught middle school English. She moved to Richmond in 2006 from Massachusetts. She is an avid fan of Boston and New York teams of all sports. She serves as a catechist at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and has one son and two granddaughters.
Maureen Detrick – Grade 5[email protected]
Mrs. Detrick arrives at All Saints with over 11 years of Catholic middle school experience teaching religion and planning instruction in all curriculum areas fostering the development of the whole child. Mrs. Detrick enjoys integrating technology into her daily instruction to engage and inspire the multi-talents and individual learning styles of her students. Mrs. Detrick holds a BS in Occupational Education from VCU and an endorsement in Middle School English Language Arts and Social Studies from NCSU.
Curt Ashley – Middle School Math, Grade 6 Homeroom[email protected]
Mr. Curt Ashley, a Marine Corps veteran, is joining All Saints August 15, 2022, for his return to where his teaching journey started back in 1994. Mr. Ashley holds a Virginia teaching license with numerous Middle and High School endorsements. In addition to Masters of Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees from VCU, he has completed extensive coursework at the University of Virginia in Educational Evaluation and Organizational Leadership. He has gained a wealth of experience during his twenty seven year career in education serving as a teacher, summer school principal, Homebound Services Learning Lab lead, and for the last seven years as a Personal Finance teacher at Manchester High School in Chesterfield County Public Schools. “I am honored and blessed to return to the school where I started my journey in education and look forward to coming back to the All Saints Family.”
Angie Rasmussen – Middle School Science, Grade 7 Homeroom[email protected]
Mrs. Rasmussen brings to us 12 years of positive youth development experience where she has developed curriculum and taught classes for a homeschool co-op on topics including dissection, biology, chemistry, botany, engineering, and simple machines using hands on activities and the Socratic method of questioning to ensure understanding in grades Kindergarten through high school. She has also worked for RPS in the Positive Youth Development Summer Camp. Mrs. Rasmussen holds a BA in History from VCU and a Master of Teaching from VCU. Welcome Mrs. Rasmussen!
Carmen Murph – Middle School History and Civics, Grade 8 Homeroom[email protected]
Mrs. Murph began teaching at All Saints in 1993. She has a B.A. in Elementary and Secondary Education Social Studies. Teaching since 1978, Mrs. Murph has experience in the Pennsylvania, Texas, and South Carolina school systems. Mrs. Murph has the highest expectations for each of her students and strives to help them work toward their strengths. Her love of Social Studies stems partly from the fact that there is always something new to learn, yet there are always ways to relate the past to the present and future. Mrs. Murph remains in touch with many of her past students attending their graduations, weddings and baby showers. In her spare time, she can be seen playing with her grandchildren–twins, a boy and a girl. In 2019, Mrs. Murph was named the All Saints’ “Teacher of the Year” by her fellow teachers and the administration.
MaryBeth Adams – Middle School English Literature[email protected]
Ms. Adams, who joins the All Saints family for the 2019-20 school year, offers twenty years of experience in Catholic schools. Ms. Adams has taught Language Arts, History, Math, and Religion to grades from 5th-8th in both Los Angeles, California and, most recently, Omaha, Nebraska. In addition to being a catholic school educator, Ms. Adams is also a trained actress and singer who taught theatre, acting, and voice classes at Metro Community College, in Omaha, for the past fourteen years. Ms. Adams holds a BA in Theater Arts from Hastings College, NE, an MFA in Acting from West Virginia University, and an MA in Inclusive Catholic Education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. Angela Cash – Religion Teacher & Coordinator[email protected]
Mrs. Cash began teaching at All Saints in 2001. She still loves anticipating what each student will bring to the table each day. She has a master’s level certification in Religion from the Diocese of Richmond. Her past experiences includes being the Notre Dame ACE mentor for six years, the Prejudice Awareness Summit Adult Sponsor for two years, and she has served on the Pastoral Council, coordinated the youth group, and nursery at St. Paul Catholic Church of which she has been a member since age 11. She is the mother of two All Saints graduates who have both recently graduated from college. Mrs. Cash loves to travel, go walking, spend time on the Chesapeake Bay, attend festivals, read, do puzzles and do all things centered on family. She strives to help students understand that as we serve others, we bless the world around us far more than we realize.
Julie Carter – Art Teacher[email protected]
Mrs. Carter joined All Saints in 2021. Mrs. Carter has thirty-four years of experience in education both as an art teacher and an administrator. Mrs. Carter earned a Bachelor of Art Education in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia. She has a Masters of Art Education through Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters of Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Carter was honored as the Tidewater Elementary Art Teacher of the Year in 2004. She has served in multiple offices in the Virginia Education Association. Mrs. Carter has been married for fifteen years to a native of Charles City and has lived in Virginia since 1990. She enjoys spending time with her family, painting in acrylics, and working in the garden
Diane Bialkowski – Library Administrator[email protected]
Ms. Bialkowski (Ms. B) joined All Saints in 2012 after 43 years of service in the Diocese of Richmond. She has taught at most grade levels in the elementary, middle and high school. She was Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Richmond for 19 years. Retired in 2012, Ms. B returned to All Saints as a volunteer, then as a full-time staff member. She retired–again–in 2019 but remains a regular substitute and new teacher mentor. Ms. B is an alum of St. Elizabeth Catholic and St. Gertrude High Schools.
Sherry Sachleben – Title I, RPS and Henrico
Mrs. Sachleben graduated from Grove City College (PA) with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary Ed. as well as Slippery Rock University (PA) with a degree in Special Ed. and a M.Ed. in Reading and a certificate in Gifted Education from the University of Virginia. Mrs. Sachleben spent 5 years as a classroom teacher, four years observing student teachers for VCU and is currently entering her sixth year as a Reading teacher. She truly enjoys teaching and observing students in various stages of the reading process. Sherry loves to spend her free time running as well as traveling with her husband and two children (ages 10 and 11).

Mrs. Velasco joins All Saints in 2020. She and her family recently moved to Richmond from Ecuador. She has many years of experience as an Operations Manager and Food Court Administrator, after moving up through clerical positions. She has training in Industrial Security, Occupational Health, and Environmental Health. She is married with two children, who will be attending All Saints.
